Abstract - This paper examines one of the tourist attractions in Kowloon City, Hong Kong, namely Avenue of Stars which is in great demand by visitors, both local and foreign tourists. This public space, which is located on the shores of Victoria Harbor, is often called Hong Kong's Hollywood, because of its spatial design and atmosphere similar to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Historically, Avenue of Stars was built as a tribute to celebrities who have contributed to the Hong Kong film industry. There are two important things that are discussed in this paper, namely what is the attraction of Avenue of Stars so that it is very attractive to visitors (tourists) and how this public space exists in Hong Kong history.

Reviews - This abstract presents an interesting study of the Avenue of Stars, one of the iconic public spaces in Kowloon City, Hong Kong. The paper's primary focus is on highlighting the space's appeal to tourists and placing it within the context of Hong Kong's history.

Thematically, this abstract successfully connects tourism, popular culture, and public space, relevant to studies of the sociology of space and the geography of tourism. Descriptively, this abstract provides a general overview of the Avenue of Stars' character as a space located along the edge of Victoria Harbor and bearing similarities to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The emphasis on its symbolic function as a tribute to prominent figures in the Hong Kong film industry is a strength, as it demonstrates that this space is not merely recreational but also imbued with historical and cultural significance. This demonstrates how public space can serve as a medium for representing urban identity and collective memory.

This study could be further developed, for example, through the perspectives of place attachment, the tourist gaze, or Lefebvre's production of space. Similarly, the scholarly contribution of this research can be specifically emphasized through comparisons with other studies.
